M In-House Fruits

There are many tropical fruits in Indonesia are delicious. Taking part of Visit Indonesia Campaign, Villa M is participating in using  some of  local fruits for our in house welcome fruits. Hope by introducing and providing the local product, will bring the Campaign even a success one.

The undisputed is the Duren or Durian, a large, thick-husked fruit full of a creamy flesh that is very rich, very strong smell, and certainly unlike anything else in the world. If you get a chance and can stand the smell, you must try Durian. It is very delicious.

Other unusual fruits includes Salak, a palm fruits which looks like a large garlic covered with brown snakeskin and has crips segments that taste like a cross between an apple and a walnut.

Manggis or Mangosteen, which has juicy white segments hiding under a thick purple brown cover that melt in your mouth. The season varies for these juicy delights. Bananas, Apples, Tangerines, Papaya, Pineapples, Pamelos (Jeruk Bali), Starfruit (Blimbing), Guava (Buah Biji) and watermelon are found year round.
